Lucía Alarcón Reyes is a Ph.D. candidate at the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain, from which she has received both a bachelor’s degree in English Philology and a master’s degree in Linguistic, Literary, and Cultural Studies (MELLC). She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, approaching the influence of Transcendentalism on the counterculture music scene in the USA.
