Andrew is a second year M.A. student in the Hispanic Literatures program. He received a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Arkansas. He focuses on the relationship between orality and literacy in medieval Iberia, namely in how works in the two traditions were composed, transmitted and consumed. Andrew works with a variety of languages, including Spanish, Catalan and Hungarian. He is likewise interested in the relationship between language and identity, especially among minority languages.
