Jingyi Guo is a Ph.D. student in Hispanic Linguistics originally from Nanjing, China. She received her B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Nanjing University, China. During her undergraduate studies, she spent one semester studying Linguistics at University of California-Berkeley as a visiting Student and volunteered to help Spanish-speaking refugees at East Bay Sanctuary. Her current research interest lies in Second Language Acquisition, especially the way Chinese-L1 learners acquire Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and dancing Hip Hop.
