Nashali is a Ph.D. student in Hispanic Literatures from the Bronx, New York. She received her B.A. in Spanish with a minor in French from St. John’s University in Queens in 2019. She then continued her studies and received her M.A. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from Stony Brook University in Long Island in 2021. She just finished her M.A. thesis, "Sensing el Bildungsroman: Tres novelas de aprendizaje españolas contemporáneas." Her research interests include critical theory, sensorial studies and other philosophy currents such as phenomenology in peninsular literature from Civil War Spain up until Franco’s dictatorship. In her free time, she enjoys reading the New York Times and singing and dancing to Bad Bunny.
