Our department administers a graduate exchange program in Seville, Spain.

Each year a graduate student will teach English-language courses at the Universidad de Sevilla at the direction of the Facultad de Filología Inglesa. The appointment is for 11 months. The student is given a stipend of 18,000 euros, which is paid in 11 installments, to cover living expenses. In consultation with her or his advisor, students should take into account how participation in the exchange program affects time to degree. Application materials are usually due late in the Fall semester or early in the Spring semester. 

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Indiana University is pleased to offer a grant of $1,500 USD to help offset travel expenses. Please note that all other costs will be the responsibility of the student.
