Núria is a Doctoral student in the Hispanic Literatures program in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at IU. She holds a BA in anthropology from Oberlin College and lived in Mallorca, Spain for a number of years, where she taught English as a Foreign Language, before coming to IU. Her research interests include Catalan literature and culture, particularly representations of women’s experiences during and following the Spanish Civil War. In her free time Núria enjoys rock climbing and knitting.
