Caroline Amodeo Williams is a Doctoral Student in Hispanic Linguistics. Originally from Blacksburg, VA, Caroline completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech in linguistics, Spanish literature, and music performance. Her current research interests are semantics and syntax as well as (instructed) second language acquisition. Lately, she spends a lot of time thinking about multiword expressions and verbs (dan mucho para pensar, ¿no?) and how to incorporate students' goals as a cornerstone in the classroom. In her free time, you'll probably find her running, rock climbing, cooking, or taking care of plants at home and around the department.
