Christopher Brenes is an M.A. student in Hispanic Linguistics and Second Language Studies. Originally from San José, Costa Rica, he completed a B.A. in English Teaching from Universidad Nacional in 2022, where he also received an associate's degree in English in 2023. He also presented and assisted at Costa Rica's International Congress of Applied Linguistics. Christopher's academic interests primarily revolve around second language acquisition and sociolinguistics. Beyond his scholarly pursuits, he stays engaged in calisthenics and running, which are among his favorite sports.
