Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Anthony is an MA/PhD student in Hispanic Literatures and Cultural Studies. In the winter of 2021, he graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a double major in Spanish and minor in cognitive science. As an undergraduate, he had the opportunity to teach English in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which focused his attention on the role of language, culture, and education. Following his graduation, he chose to pursue a Master of Arts in Language Teaching Studies at the University of Oregon, from which he graduated in the fall of 2023. Anthony's primary interests include Golden Age literature, Spanish Civil War literature, Catalan, and Spanish pedagogy."
