Jill is a first year Ph.D. student in the Hispanic Literatures program. Originally from Vermont, she earned her B.A. in Spanish with a minor in French from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh (2014) and her M.A. in Hispanic Literatures from Indiana University (2017). Her research focuses on studies of utopia/dystopia and memory in contemporary Peninsular literature and film. Other interests include Catalan studies, as well as dictatorship, exile, and trauma in both Spain and Latin America.
