Jill is a Ph.D. candidate in the Hispanic Literatures program. Originally from Vermont, she earned her B.A. in Spanish with a minor in French from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh (2014) and her M.A. in Hispanic Literatures from Indiana University (2017). Her dissertation focuses on the return to Spain in novels by 20th century exiles. Other interests include Catalan studies, utopia and dystopia, memory, dictatorship, and film in both Spain and Latin America. Her hobbies include baking and DIY projects.
