Matt Peisen is a doctoral student in Hispanic Literatures. He received a B.A. from the University of Dallas (2011) in Psychology and an M.A. from the University of Iowa (2014) in Hispanic Literature. Matt focuses on early modern Spain, and he is completing a minor in Renaissance studies. His research analyzes monstrosity in Golden Age Theater, and he is also interested in the intersection of religion, literature, and culture. In addition to his love of reading, Matt enjoys travelling and dancing casino de rueda salsa.
