Professor Namorato has been awarded a Fulbright Award in Portugal for next academic year to work on her project, The Literary Embrace: Transatlantic Exchange in the Portuguese-Speaking World, 1840-1910, in which she examines literary connections between Brazil and Portugal by analyzing the writings of Brazilian and Portuguese authors.
