Professor Luciana Namorato has been awarded a Research Fellowship from the College Arts & Humanities Institute to work on her book project “The Literary Embrace: Transatlantic Exchange in the Portuguese-Speaking World, 1840-1910.” In this particular research, Professor Namorato examines literary connections between Brazil and Portugal by analyzing the writings of Brazilian and Portuguese authors, such as Machado de Assis (1839-1908) and Camilo Castelo Branco (1825-1890). We wish Professor Namorato all the best in the process of completing it.
