The goal of the Professionalization Workshop Series/S504 is to better provide our graduate students with support, resources, and opportunities for community building as they transition through various stages of the program and into professional careers – both inside of and outside of academia. The workshops cover a range of topics tailored to the “how-to” of graduate school, job market preparation, and career skills. Workshops are led by department faculty, alumni, and other campus units with relevant expertise to foster working relationships and support networks with students across sub-disciplines/programs and cohorts, faculty, GSAC, and alumni.
