Andreina Colina is a Ph.D. student in Hispanic Linguistics from Caracas, Venezuela. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Music, with a concentration in Instrumental Education from Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU). She also completed a minor in Spanish and is certified to teach Spanish and music to students from Kindergarten to twelfth grade. She completed a Master's program in Music Performance with a specialization in Violin Performance at SELU. She also obtained a Masters in Arts with a specialization in Hispanic Studies at Louisiana State University (LSU). Her interests include phonetics and phonology, second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, language contact, and linguistic variation.
